Blue/purple fruits and veggies are rich in flavonoids which play an important role in cancer prevention and delaying the initial stages of cancer development. A certain group of flavonoids known as ‘proanthocyanidins’ helps in preventing bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract lining which in turn prevents the growth of Urinary tract infection(UTI).
