International Day of Disabled Persons

It is estimated that approximately 10% of the world’s total population or roughly 650 million people, live with some form of disability or impairment. International Day of Disabled Persons is observed with an intention to highlight the issues that affect the disabled people including protection of their constitutional rights and dignity.
