Centre for Children

Care of sick children has been one of the cornerstones in our planning and the centre delivers complete services for robust child health. We provide specialised support for children with development problems, infectious diseases, orthopaedics and genetic disorders. The centre has dedicated paediatric ICUs and neonatal ICUs to provide special care to critically ill children and newborns. A unique feature is the establishment of the first comprehensive paediatric heart programme focussing on heart problems at birth and in childhood. The Children’s Heart Centre at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital is a world-class facility specializing in providing comprehensive care for neonates, infants, children and adults with all varieties of heart ailments as well as simple and complex Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). The Center aims to be a Nodal Tertiary Referral Center for Heart related problems in children, along with a strong focus on academic and research activities.
