Hands on Advanced Wet Workshop on Immuno-haematology

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, has organized Hands on Advanced Wet Workshop on Immuno-haematology from October 29th to 2nd November 2012. This program was in association with the South Asian Association of Transfusion Medicine and conducted by the Indian Immunohematology Initiative.

Renowned International faculty Dr Jim Perkins from NorthShore University Health System, USA and Ms Martha Rae Combs from Duke University Medical Centre USA delivered didactic in the Workshop.
Objective of the workshop was to impart training and implement the advanced techniques to detect and identify antibodies. This helps in providing the safest possible blood to our patients.

The workshop was attended by 15 participants from different institutions across the country.
