Myth – Hepatitis B can be inherited from parents

Fact - You can get hepatitis B from direct contact with blood or infected bodily fluids, unprotected sex with an infected partner and sharing or re-using unsterilized needles. Pregnant women with Hepatitis B can spread the virus to their babies during childbirth.
