Can watching too much tv cause myopia?

KDAH

Myopia, commonly known as nearsightedness is a common vision condition in which near objects appear clear, but objects farther away look blurry. Although there is no evidence that watching too much TV causes myopia, spending too much time on screens can create eye strain, which can show symptoms of hazy vision and headaches. We advocate taking frequent (20-minute) breaks from your devices and scheduling regular eye exams.
