Causes of dry eyes

KDAH

A dry eye is a condition in which a person doesn't have enough quality tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye, providing a clear vision, and reducing the risk of eye infection. Consult an eye specialist if you experience a burning sensation in your eyes, see stringy mucus in or around your eyes, or have blurred vision.
