Choose to eat healthy fats


Make conscious choices every day and replace foods higher in saturated fats with foods higher in unsaturated fats. Good sources of omega-3 fatty acids include fatty fish, flaxseeds, chia seeds, walnuts, etc. Good sources of monounsaturated fats include olive oil, avocado, peanut butter, nuts, etc. These beneficial fats aid in the production of HDL, or "good" cholesterol in the body. #NationalNutritionWeek
