Don't let diabetes harm your vision

KDAH

Diabetes when left uncontrolled can cause damage to tiny blood vessels in your eyes. A complication of diabetes that affects the eyes is diabetic retinopathy. Its early symptoms include floaters, blurriness, dark areas of vision and difficulty perceiving colours. Mild cases may be treated with careful diabetes management. High blood sugar levels can also increase the risk of glaucoma, and cataracts. Speak to your doctor to know how to manage your diabetes better and prevent vision loss. #WorldDiabetesDay
