Swim for a healthy heart!

KDAH

Swimming is a great aerobic exercise that helps lower your heart rate. The average human has a resting heart rate of approximately 60 – 70 beats per minute, while most athletes, have a resting heart rate as low as 40 – 60 beats per minute. Swimming strengthens your heart, and makes your heart pump more blood with each beat. A low heart rate decreases your risk of heart disease.
