KDAH

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder that affects the large intestine. The pain and discomfort associated with IBS may be mild or severe and sometimes can make it difficult to carry out daily activities. Untreated IBS may cause chronic constipation or diarrhoea which may also lead to haemorrhoids. Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis and treatment. As many other abdominal disorders also cause similar symptoms it is advisable to consult a gastroenterologist for a diagnosis.
