Symptoms of sinus

KDAH

Sinus infection, often known as sinusitis, affects one out of every eight persons each year. When your sinuses become inflamed due to a cold, mucus can’t drain, so it builds up and can lead to sinusitis, which can be viral or bacterial. You should see a doctor if you still have sinusitis symptoms after a week or if they return more than a few times within a year. You should also see a doctor as soon as possible if the infection worsens and you notice symptoms like fever, increase in pain, increase in nasal discharge.
