What causes proptosis?

KDAH

Proptosis, or protruding eyeballs, may affect one or both of your eyes. This may happen when you have a thyroid problem, an injury, infection, or other health conditions. With this condition, the eyes do not blink often and seem to be gazing. Speak to your doctor for further investigation.
