Got a toenail fungus?

Nail fungus, or onychomycosis, is a condition that occurs when a microscopic fungus enters either a fingernail or toenail. Nail fungus can affect anyone, although it is more frequent in persons over 60, diabetics, and those who have a weaker immune system. Nail fungus usually develops after fungus penetrates the nail by a minor trauma (cut or break). Consult a doctor for further assistance.
