Biography

Dr. Bhave completed his Anesthesiology training at Bangalore. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) at Bengaluru. He was attached to LTMMC and LTMGH, Sion hospital, as an assistant professor.

Dr. Bhave was associated with LTMGH & LTMMC, Sion Mumbai as Assistant Professor Anaesthesiology before joining Kokilaben Hospital. He was also associated with NIMHANS, Bangalore and Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. He completed his post graduation from HOSMAT hospital, Bengaluru- a leading orthopedic and sports medicine centre in the city. At NIMHANS, Dr. Bhave completed his post doctoral fellowship in Neuroanesthesiology

Dr. Bhave has successfully managed neurosurgical procedures comprising of Brain tumours, Posterior fossa lesions, Paediatric neurosurgery, Spine surgery, Neurovascular surgery, Functional neurosurgery, Epilepsy surgery and surgeries for Traumatic Brain Injury. He has successfully managed interventional neuroradiological procedures like stroke, aneurysm coiling, arteriovenous malformation embolisation, neurovascular stenting and embolisation of dural and spinal arteriovenous fistulas.

Dr. Bhave has got experience in using Neuro-monitoring devices like Trans cranial Doppler, EEG, Entropy, Bispectral Index and Intracranial Pressure Monitoring.
