Biography

Dr Kaimal graduated from T.N.Medical College, Mumbai and obtained her specialist qualifications from the United Kingdom. During her work/study experience of over 15 years in the United Kingdom, Dr Kaimal had the opportunity to work with renowned medical professionals. Exposure to systems, procedures as well as emphasis on quality of medical care adopted by the developed Country has been a great value addition to Dr Kaimal’s professional competence. Dr.Kaimal worked on many projects related to Endocrinology and Diabetes and has to her credit numerous papers and international poster presentations.

After graduating from T.N Medical College, Mumbai, Dr Kaimal spent the next fifteen years in UK acquiring additional qualifications and experience. She completed her MRCP in Medicine and her specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes, which included experience in reputed Tertiary care centres. She worked as a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes in UK and was the clinical lead of the Endocrinology department at Mid Essex Hospital. She was the lead Endocrinologist in Essex region for the thyroid cancer multidisciplinary team and the lead for endocrine management of patients undergoing adrenal surgery. She has extensive experience in advanced diabetes management such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, London in 2018.

Dr Kaimal has multiple publications in international medical journals. She has presented over twenty posters at reputed international conferences and meetings. She has performed over fifteen healthcare related audits to improve patient care.
