Biography

After completing his graduation from Sion Hospital, Mumbai followed by integrated 6-years Pediatric Surgery training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, he worked as an independent Pediatric Surgeon in a high volume centre, for five years, which exposed him to wide spectrum of Pediatric Surgery, including advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS). He pursued his growing interest in hepatobiliary diseases especially biliary atresia and joined Rela Institute and Medical Sciences, Chennai in a 2-year LTSI accredited fellowship program followed by consultant position in Hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, Adult and Pediatric Liver Transplantation with Prof. Mohamed Rela.

He graduated from LTM Medical College, Mumbai and joined an integrated 6-year Pediatric Surgical sub-specialization from AIIMS, New Delhi. He worked as an independent Pediatric Surgeon in Hisar for almost 5-years with focus on Minimally Invasive Pediatric Surgical Operations before joining Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GCRI), Ahmedabad which was the turning point of his career to liver transplantation. He joined BJ Wadia Hospital with a liver transplant fellowship from Mumbai, but he went on further training for Pediatric Liver Transplantation with Prof. Mohamed Rela at Rela Institute, Chennai.

He joined as a consultant in Hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, adult and Pediatric Liver Transplantation with his special interest in pediatric liver diseases and robotic surgery.
