Dr. Ruhi Mehra underwent in depth training in Bone Marrow Transplant & HLA Typing during her three-year tenure at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Research Centre.

As the Head of Transfusion Medicine at Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre she gained hands-on experience in quality management, accreditation, licensing procedures and handling rare & challenging patients.

Being a member of the International Blood Supply Management Working Party of ISBT, she has been actively involved in collaborating projects at an international level.

She also has the experience of building & developing a new Transfusion Medicine Department at MGM Hospital by active liaison with government authorities.
