Dr. Rutuja Deepak Mayee is a consultant anaesthesiologist with focused training in regional anaesthesia and perioperative pain management. She completed her MD in Anaesthesiology at Grant Government Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, followed by the Fellowship of the Academy of Regional Anaesthesia (FAORA) at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Her clinical interests include ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, opioid-sparing multimodal analgesia, airway management and safe perioperative care. She has experience across tertiary-care, government and teaching hospitals and is actively involved in research, academic presentations and teaching in regional anaesthesia.
She began her medical career as a Junior Resident at Government Medical College, Akola, from April to October 2018. She subsequently underwent MD Anaesthesiology training at Grant Government Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, from May 2019 to May 2022. She worked as a Clinical Assistant at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (KDAH) from July 2022 to January 2023, followed by a tenure as an FAORA Fellow at KDAH from February 2023 to January 2024. She then served as a Senior Resident at ESIC Hospital from February 2024 to February 2025. From March 2025 to March 2026, she worked as a Senior Clinical Assistant in the Department of Anaesthesiology at KDAH.
Dr. Mayee has worked and trained at KDAH as a Clinical Assistant, FAORA Fellow and Senior Clinical Assistant. Her KDAH experience includes perioperative anaesthetic care for a broad range of surgical specialties, ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, acute pain management and participation in departmental academic activities.
