Biography

I am Dr Tushar Premraj Raut practicing as consultant neurologist at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital since last 2 years. I am looking after the stroke services and general neurology services of the department. I believe in a holistic approach in patient care, maintain a positive and happy environment amongst patients. To keep patients motivated,address all their queries and be with them in their journey to overcome their ailments and live a healthy life.

Tushar Premraj Raut completed his MBBS from LTMMC, Sion, Mumbai, in 2007, and MD (Medicine) from GMC, Nagpur, in 2010.

He specialized in neurology from King George's Medical University, Lucknow in 2013.

He also cleared his DNB Neurology in May 2014. He has received a Gold medal in DM Neurology exams. Consultant neurologist for 5 years at a Hospital in Mumbai

Actively involved in Dealing with various stroke cases, including acute stroke treatment since 2 years. Also involved in handling complex vertigo cases, neuroinfections and neurocritical care.

  • Extensive work done in tropical neurology with special emphasis on Tuberculous meningitis, Tubercular spondylodiscitis, and Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis.
  • Hands on workshop in performing and interpreting Transcranial doppler, Nerve muscle ultrasound.

  • Actively involved in setting up a stroke unit in previous institute.
