Mrs. Volatina Raoninomena's, Madagascar
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Volatina Raoninomena, I am from Madagascar. In Madagascar, after experiencing instability in my blood pressure, which rose as high as 180/110, I was surprised by the CT scan results showing that I was suffering from a disease called Von Hippel Lindau syndrome. It is a very rare disease because, in fact, the doctor told me that only 1 person out of 36,000 in the population is affected by this condition. My bile ducts, pancreas, and kidneys are all covered with spreading cysts. In addition, my left adrenal gland was affected by a tumour called pheochromocytoma.
How did we come to know about Kokilaben Hospital? Initially, through one of his colleagues at work, my husband heard about Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, because a relative of that colleague was also suffering from an illness and was receiving treatment there. It was through her that we came to know about the Kokilaben representative office in Madagascar.
The doctors involved in my treatment were Dr. Attar Mohammad Ismail, who handled the kidney surgery; Dr. Dhiraj Kapoor, the endocrinologist; and Dr. Somnath Chattopadhyay, who treated my bile ducts and pancreas.
We would also like to sincerely thank our coordinator and interpreter, Mrs. Smita, for her support.
Regarding the services, we are truly satisfied with the welcome, the quality of care, and the professionalism of Kokilaben Hospital. During our stay, we witnessed many patients recovering successfully.
Would we recommend Kokilaben Hospital? Yes, of course. We have never seen a hospital that takes such good care of its patients with so much attention and professionalism. We will share our experience for the benefit of others, and for that, we sincerely thank the entire team at Kokilaben Hospital.
