Muhammad Shahin, Bangladesh

Assalamu Alaikum,
My name is Muhammad Shahin, and I am a cancer patient.

After receiving treatment in Bangladesh, I was not satisfied with the results, so I decided to continue my treatment in Mumbai, India, at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital under the care of Dr. Imran Sheick. He initially suggested 8 cycles of chemotherapy. For the first 3 months, I was fit and fine, but after that my health started deteriorating.

I then visited Tata Medical Hospital, Kolkata, where I was seen by a junior doctor. However, I was not satisfied with his treatment either. After some time, I returned to Bangladesh, but again my condition required further consultation. So, I went back to Mumbai and met Dr. Imran Sheick once more. This time, he recommended 12 cycles of chemotherapy. Hearing this, I was initially terrified, especially when I came to know it was Stage 4 cancer. But Dr. Imran comforted me and assured me that I would be fine if I continued the treatment.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, my health is now stable, and I am living a cancer-free life. I am still continuing my chemotherapy cycles and medication to ensure the cancer does not return.

Ahana took charge of assisting international patients. I am truly pleased with her heartfelt behaviour, politeness, and sincerity. She answered all my queries without hesitation and treated me with great care. As a cancer patient, our morale is already shaken, and at such a time, the empathy and support we receive mean a lot. Ahana’s kind approach truly uplifted my spirit, and I am very grateful for that.

I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Imran Sheick for his excellent care throughout my treatment.

Good wishes to everyone.
Assalamu Alaikum.
