Premanand Mulloo was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2024 – Dr Yuvaraja advised him to undergo the Robotic HIFU procedure. We came to India in Jan 25 for this – Dr Yuvaraja and his team made this a seamless experience for us. They were very clear in their explanations regarding the treatment and the pre and post-surgery care given to him was impeccable. Special thanks to Mr. Rakesh, who helped us with the appointments – always with a smile! Additionally, the nurses looking after him in Room 13066 in the 6th Floor were amazing!
What was amazing was the recovery time after the surgery – on the next day, he was already on his feet, with minimal discomfort and pain. The picture below says it all (right pic taken 24 hrs after surgery). This speaks volume about the competence and skills of Dr Yuvaraja and his team.
Special mention to Krishna Joshi, our International coordinator. Even before we left Mauritius, she had organised our whole stay and was always extremely professional and proactive when responding to our queries on WhatsApp. Being alone in a foreign country can certainly be daunting, but Krishna navigated us through the whole process effortlessly and always made it a must to check on us.
She was, in every sense of the term, our beacon of light in this whole medical trip – we are extremely grateful to her for her kindness and genuine care she demonstrated towards us. She is a real asset to any organisation she works for!
